To be intentional is to create something beautiful.

Intentionality takes time, thought, effort, consideration. But intentionality is what gives something that extra beauty, extra flair, or that extra depth. You can be intentional in your time with a beloved friend, asking them pointed and caring questions, learning their heart. You can be intentional about how you spend your time or what you eat. All the while, creating a habit, memories, or a full life.

On a more surface level, this family was very intentional about what they wore to their session. This made all the difference in their pictures! Mom very carefully planned each outfit, taking into account how each item would go with the other, and taking a few suggestions from me along the way. She chose what she felt most beautiful in, and then went along choosing for her family. The fruit of her intentionality was beautiful. Even in the details of the jewelry she picked out.

To be intentional is to create something beautiful. It takes time, effort, extra thought and consideration, but the fruit of being intentional is worth it, whether it be a beautiful gallery of images or deepening friendship. Intentionality adds depth.
